What is Routing Number Checker?

It is an online tool that checks routing numbers and determines when and where a bank routing number should be issued using our extensive database.

The routing number is divided into two parts—fraction and MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) part. Essentially, they contain the same information.

It validates the routing number, divided into three parts by a dot. The first set of four digits is called the Federal Reserve Routing Symbol which is between 00 – 12, 21 – 32, 61 – 72, or 80 and it should not be 81 to 100.

The second set of four digits also is called ABA Institution Identifier that is between 1-9. Sometimes it might be 0 also if the bank is located in the Federal Reserve city proper.

The third set of the single digit is called a Check Digit.

All Routing Numbers data was collected from the American Bankers Association Highest Issued Group data, and It was updated until the ABA Routing Number came into existence.

Test the public availability of RNs – The use of RNs is widespread. Some argue that RNs are still limited while available within many financial, health, employment, and government institutions.

Proposing and reviewing technical and policy solutions – It provides technical integrations, add-ons, and stand-alone technology that render RNs more socially responsible, provides policy and legal analyses that examine the effectiveness in the growth of economic sector.
